Our services

All Trinity surveyors are fully trained and will inform you if your damp problems are caused by structural defects or actual rising damp, penetrating damp, condensation, wet/dry rot. We will advise you of the best course of action whether it be damp proofing treatment, timber treatment or structural repair.

Timber Preservation

In older properties it’s essential to prevent beetle infestation (woodworm), dry rot and other timber problems such as fungal decay. These can be unsightly and cause serious structural problems. You can rely on Trinity to help protect your timber from potentially costly problems.

Dry/Wet Rot Treatments

Dry and Wet Rot can cause serious structural defects in buildings, as well as being unsightly. Rot problems need to be sorted out quickly before serious damage occurs. If this has already happened, we can recommend the best remedial actions to eradicate the rot and make your property structurally stable. Make sure you contact us for a free inspection today.

Specialist Replastering service

Unlike normal internal plastering or external rendering, applying plaster and render to old walls which have been treated for damp requires a different procedure. Rising damp causes a build-up of hygroscopic salts (e.g. chlorides, nitrates) in the wall structure. Trinity will make sure that any replastering carried out after treatment works effectively.

Wall Tie Replacement

Wall Tie failure is the corrosion of the protecting coating of the wall tie. We will carry out Wall Tie Reports at a nominal cost using Austenetic Stainless Steel Ties to British Standards, with an underwritten guarantee on all work contracted.

Basement tanking and above ground membrane applications

Cellars and basements are invariably visibly damp due to the very nature of the construction and the placement of such walling in a subterranean environment. Unless a ventilated and pumped system is employed, internal tanking in cellar/basements can cause significant damage as the saturation of the walling will become far greater.

We use specialist basement waterproofing techniques’ to transform these areas into habitable accommodation and this can considerably add to the value of commercial and residential properties.
